ABOUT US

Solla Health was born out of a simple belief: everyone deserves access to high-quality, personalised care — right where they live.

While working in the public health system, I noticed a recurring problem. Too many patients were being readmitted to hospital, not because they wanted to be there, but because there was a lack of continuity in physiotherapy care in the community. Treatment was often built around a disease-focused model, overlooking the person behind the diagnosis. Their goals, their lifestyle, and their unique needs were too often left out of the picture.

That’s why I founded Solla Health — a mobile physiotherapy service designed to bring care back to the individual.

At Solla Health, we believe:

  • There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare. Each patient has their own story, and our job is to listen and adapt.

  • Care should be compassionate and empowering. We see ourselves as mentors and guides, helping clients take control of their health and achieve their goals.

  • Great outcomes happen when care is personal. By coming directly to our clients — in their homes, aged care facilities, or supported living environments — we make rehab practical, accessible, and meaningful.

Our mission is simple: to provide evidence-based physiotherapy with a human touch, supporting people to move better, live more confidently, and enjoy the life they deserve.

At Solla Health Physiotherapy, you're not just a patient — you're part of the family.

Nisansa Waduge
Founder & Lead Physiotherapist

Hi there, I’m Nisansa – an APHRA registered physiotherapist and the founder of Solla Health.

From a young age, I’ve believed that health is your true wealth in life. That passion has guided me through a career spanning private practice, public health, aged care, and community rehabilitation. My greatest focus has been in the community setting, where care is deeply personal and closely linked to helping people live with independence and confidence.

I’ve developed specialised expertise in the Falls & Balance Clinic and Vestibular Clinic at Northern Health, supporting clients with acute BPPV, chronic dizziness, and complex balance conditions. Alongside this, I’ve worked extensively in community neurological rehab and chronic care programs, helping people move safely, manage long-term conditions, and achieve meaningful milestones in their everyday lives.

My personal approach to physiotherapy is shaped by four values I carry into every session: collaboration, empathy, empowerment, and growth. I believe the best results happen when we work as a team — listening, adapting, and finding strategies that fit each person’s goals

For me, physiotherapy isn’t just about recovery; it’s about growth. I grow with my patients, celebrating their progress step by step, and aiming for clinical excellence while never losing sight of the human connection. And because rehab can sometimes feel daunting, I try to bring patience, encouragement, and even a little humour along the way. I know what it feels like to be on the other side too — as someone who’s active but a bit clumsy, I’ve had my own experiences with rehab. It’s given me perspective as both a patient and a clinician, and a deeper appreciation for the resilience my clients show every day. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me out exploring Melbourne’s parks, staying active, or spending time with family and friends. I truly believe life is meant to be lived fully — and that’s what I aim to help my clients do: move freely, live confidently, and enjoy the moments that matter most.
